Has stopped running on my HTC Touch
I tried both nokia's smart2go and google maps.
Smart2go has less map details and lower map resolution than google maps.
It also doesn't have this great feture of google maps that finds your location, even without a GPS device. Google maps uses the antennas of the cellular network to estimate your location. Very impressive.
On the other hand, Smart2go has an extra PC program that allows to download maps to use the software without internet connection. There isn't such a feature in Google maps. Google maps will exit if there is no internet connection.
I had unistalled Smart2go from my pda because of the low map resolution. When I tried to reinstall it, to check the downloaded maps feature, the program could not run. It is stuck in the initial splash screen.
