How to restore the the StarReminder tasks after a computer crash or transfer to new computer
On the OLD PC or from the OLD PC's Backups:
The starreminder's database and backup files are stored inside Windows' "My Documents" folder.
Copy them on a USB disk or to the new PC.
On the NEW PC:
1. Download the latest version directly from http://download5.starmessage.gr/starreminder_setup.exe.
2. Install it.
3. Close StarReminder.
4. Copy the file named "StarReminder.dat" from the backup files of your previous disk to your Windows' "My Documents\StarReminder" folder. (replace the existing file)
5. Launch Starreminder.
6. You should see your reminders now
7. Put your activation code in the program to register it.
