When I plug the earphones on HTC touch, the ring sounds and the new SMS sound alerts are played on the earphones instead of the normal speaker.

I plug the earphones in order to reduce the radiation of the phone while in use. Do the designers of WM believe I should keep wearing the earphones in order to hear the ringing in case someone calls me?
This must be a bug in all windows mobile 6 phones, proving the wm are still immature to be used in phones.
Was anyone able to bypass this problem and keep the ring sound coming from the normal speakerphone?
